Wedding & Event Assistant

Our wedding and event assistants are responsible for working with our lead planners in the execution of weddings and private events. Assistants are provided all day-of schedules, decor/styling sheets and floorplans for use on the event day.

On event days, the job requires being on your feet for the majority of the day with duties from setup, to coordination of events, hands on work with the wedding party during photos, checking in with our couple, guest management and tear down. Weekends, early mornings, and late nights are required for event days.

Current availability must include 6/8/24, 6/16/24 and/or 10/12/24. Additional events for this season may be added subject to availability.

Tasks include, but are certainly not limited to:

  • Assisting guests

  • Tending to the wedding party

  • Setting up, detailing, and breaking down items such as programs, escort cards, decor, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, welcome tables, the guest book, blankets, etc.

  • Directing the wedding party prior to and during the ceremony

  • Greeting guests, answering questions, directing them to bathrooms

  • Receiving gifts/cards and placing them in the designated location

  • Interacting with venue staff and vendors

  • Tidying up and re-supplying the bathroom baskets

The perfect wedding and event assistant will be a detail-driven, customer service champ who brings the sunshine, even on the stormiest of days. Physical Requirements:

The assistant will be on their feet for many hours (10-16) at a time and be able to move furniture and décor. Physical stamina and ability to lift at least 30 lbs. is a must.

Attire:

  • Professional, conservative, and cute/stylish. Preferably black or blue.

  • No bra straps, cleavage, or underwear showing

  • Closed-toe shoes are required at all times

More:

  • Must have reliable transportation

  • No fraternizing with guests

  • No drinking alcohol while working or before arriving

Compensation:

  • Pay is hourly and depends on experience
